Modi Doesn’t Ask Anyone to Speak Out Their ‘Mann ki BAAT’: Congress Vice President, Shri Rahul Gandhi

Panaji (GOA): Congress Vice-President Shri Rahul Gandhi addressed a poll rally in Mapusa, Goa on 30th January, 2017 before the state Assembly elections scheduled on February 4. In his speech he took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi accusing him of lying about the development in Goa. He said that if Congress comes to power it will work to eliminate corruption from the state.

Those who subscribe to the Bharatiya Janata Party and the RSS ideology, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, believe they know everything and never ask others about their ideas and thoughts, Congress Vice President Shri Rahul Gandhi said.

Hours after appearing before a magistrate in Maharashtra’s Thane district in connection with a defamation case, Shri Gandhi told a poll rally in Goa that Congress leaders in the courtroom were all smiles, while members of the RSS group who had filed the defamation case against him were glum and serious.

Congress leader Shri Rahul Gandhi said: “Today I was in Bhiwandi. My case is going on. There were Congress people. I was there. Shri Ashok Chavan was there. Shri Sanjay Nirupam was there. (both Maharashtra Congress leaders) The man who had filed the case was sitting behind me. Their other folk were there too. Where members of the Congress were smiling, RSS leaders were sitting seriously.”

Congress Vice President Shri Rahul Gandhi faces a defamation trial in the Bhiwandi court, after he was sued for blaming the Rashtriya  Swayamsevak Sangh for the assassination of the Father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi in one of his speeches last year.

In his speech, Rahul Gandhi also shared a conversation he had with his sister Priyanka, where he claims both discussed why those who follow the BJP ideology are so “angry”.

“I do not know what the reason is. They do not smile. They speak well. But it appears that the world is angry. Like how many people are happy in Goa, they are angry. I thought about it a lot. People of BJP ideology, why are they so angry? The answer is, they think they know everything,” he said. “

“In Parliament, when there is a discussion they say you do not understand this. They believe they know everything. And what happens is when the truth emerges to be something else they get angry,” Shri Rahul Gandhi said.

He also accused Modi of suffering from the same malady.

Shri Rahul Gandhi said they (BJP) promised of giving jobs to 50, 000 people but everyone knows that Goa government didn’t give jobs to anyone.   Then PM comes and says that they have developed the state.

Congress Vice President commenting on ‘Mann Ki Baat’ and said “Has Modi told anyone, to speak out their Mann ki Baat’,” “Did Modi ji ask anyone in Goa, tell me what is in your heart. This is not Modi ji or RSS or BJP style, but this is the Congress style,” Shri Rahul Gandhi said.

He assured the people of Goa that Congress will do everything as per the wish of the people of Goa. I promise you that, Congress is not ready for any compromise, will work properly and eliminate corruption from Goa state, says Rahul Gandhi.
