PUNJAB Nabha jail attack smells of government involvement

Chandigarh: The Punjab Congress Legislature Party chief Shri Charanjit Singh Channi on 27th November, 2016 lambasted Home Minister S. Sukhbir Singh Badal and senior minister S. Bikram Majithia for their alleged involvement in the High security Nabha Jail attack. He said that this was not at all possible without the connivance of home minister and the police officials. He demanded that the formation of SIT by the Badal Government is mere eyewash. The incident should be handed over to a sitting judge of high court with a time bound probe. He said the Akali Dal-BJP government in the state has no moral right to continuein office after the daring attack on the high security Nabha jail where dreaded criminals and terrorists are lodged.
