Bharat Jodo Yatra’s 1st Anniversary

Spokesperson: Shri Pawan Khera: He said that today is the first anniversary of the historic ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’. The man... the leader who inspired thousands of people to participate in this historic moment, Shri Rahul Gandhi, has continued the Yatra even after the Yatra has physically come to an end after 4,000 kilometers in 145 days.

This is a journey which can be measured in the various dreams, aspirations, tears, smiles, hopes of millions of Indians who communicated with our leaders in different languages, through different expressions. That’s how hearts came together, that’s how feet came together, that’s how hopes came together, that’s how ‘India’ came together, that’s how ‘Bharat’ came together. However, there are forces… and there have always been forces… that have tried to stop India from uniting, that feels threatened to see a united India. Who are those forces? Everyone knows the answer.

We, in the Congress Party, thank you all and congratulate you for being a part of a very important milestone of history. We are told that certain universities abroad are planning to have a PhD on ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’…on what inspired Shri Rahul Gandhi to undertake something as difficult as a 4,000-kilometer Yatra.

Our task is not easy, your task is not easy. We are fighting against resource-rich forces who are out to destroy this country and divide this country. But our slogan is ‘Judgea Bharat, Jeetega India’. This slogan inspires us all. Thursday, September 7, 2023
