Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Shri Rahul Gandhi said that it was an open-and-shut case of Election Commission of India stealing votes for the Bharatiya Janata Party as revealed in a detailed investigation carried out by the Party.

At the same time, he issued a clear and categorical warning that anyone found involved from top to the bottom in the Election Commission stealing votes for the BJP, will not be spared as it amounts to treason against the country. “No matter where you are, retired or not, we will find you,” he said.

The Leader of Opposition said that his Party’s initial doubts began with Madhya Pradesh, and were further reinforced in Maharashtra where one crore new voters were added within a span of few months.

“Since the ECI did not support or cooperate with us, we did our own investigation. What we uncovered is like an atom bomb; once it explodes, EC will not be seen anywhere”, he added. He said that the Party conducted the investigation with depth and granularity. He added that it took the Party about six months to go into the full details, and the findings will be revealed very soon. He said, the entire country will come to know how the Election Commission has been manipulating votes in favour of the BJP. Friday August 1, 2025
