After getting badly defeated in Jharkhand elections, these people started this and IT raided, which was publicized in the name of ‘Liquor Scam’ and there is also a report of 2019-2020 in this liquor scam, where they also conducted investigation. After that, they remained silent for two and a half years and as soon as the elections were near, ED becomes active and it is said that scams of 2168 crores have happened. It is also said that fake holograms were used. If it was so, then the distiller will do it, it will happen in the same factory, but no action has been taken against him. Instead, action has been taken against other people.

Jewellery was also found in his house, cash was also found, none was seized and it was said that there was a scam of Rs. 2,168 crores and even after confiscation of movable and immovable properties before 2018, there was no property worth around Rs. 200 crores. Whereas during this period, after 2018 when our government was formed, the excise revenue before that was Rs. 3,900 crores, now it has increased to Rs. 6,500 crores and the allegation has been made by ED that a loss to the state treasury has been caused whereas the revenue increased from Rs. 3,900 crores to Rs. 6,500 crores. Second thing - Accused of coal scam worth Rs. 500 crores. FIR was registered in Karnataka, then it was registered in Bhopal, now in Noida also and after that they have presented supplementary challans 4 times and till now it has reached 150 crores including movable and immovable assets. The allegation is of 500 crores but the property is worth 50 crores! They are not able till date.

Thirdly, it is important that efforts are being made continuously that there was a scam even in paddy. All the rice mills were raided by IT, now ED will sneak in too. Their problem is that how did the 107 lakh metric tonnes of paddy of the farmers get milled. Till now it used to happen that paddy was lying outside, like news comes from Madhya Pradesh that wheat is lying outside and has rotted. There used to be news in Chhattisgarh that paddy was lying in the open, got wet, dried up and rotted. We have saved all those losses and that is why they are troubled.

Now, the funny thing is that through the Government of India, without any ECIR, they write letters to the Mining Director to tell us how much work has been done. Similarly, a question is also asked to the registrar that how many land registrations have been done in these 3-4 years since our government was formed, how many registrations have been done after 2018-19. They go to the houses, first confiscate the mobiles, then seize the property in the house, cash, jewellery, bank accounts. They do not vacate unless there is an order from above and then they start asking political questions. The overall objective is how to defame the functioning government and how to disrupt it. The only objective is political and nothing else but politics.

I want to say that if these ruling parties take any action like this then it becomes the big responsibility of the court to stop such interference and harassment of the people. Thursday, August 24, 2023
