Spokesperson: Shri K. Meghachandra Singh: He said - Despite many people coming from Manipur to Delhi for the purpose of sit-in protest, it is very unfortunate that we cannot do our protest here. So, we cannot do the protest now. Even if the authority declines to issue the ground permission, our protest, our movement will not stop… we will continue our protest in different forms.
Today also we are just coming from the PMO office. We have submitted our memorandum to Prime Minister by our team on behalf of the people of Manipur.
Friends, in this memorandum, we are requesting hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi Ji to visit Manipur once. And also, we are requesting hon’ble Prime Minister, in case he is very busy because India is a very vast country, then he can invite all the delegates of the political parties of Manipur and even the hon’ble MLAs, Ministers, including the BJP MLAs and the Ministers. He never met hon’ble Chief Minister of Manipur, he never met hon’ble ministers of Manipur and also all the people of Manipur. And you see, the entire people are suffering for the last 18 months, it is going to complete 19 months. Friday, December 6, 2024
