Spokesperson: Shri Ajay Maken, Shri Devendra Yadav and Shri Rajesh Lilothia: Shri Rajesh Lilothia said that today we are going to start the Delhi Samvidhan Rakshak Abhiyan and the campaign that we have started in the whole country is from today till November 26, i.e. a 100-day campaign. We will conduct this program in all 70 assembly constituencies of Delhi. Shri Ajay Maken said that we will implement the Samvidhan Rakshak Abhiyan in front of everyone in the whole country within 100 days.

Earlier, our SC Congress, which is led by Rajesh Lilothia at the national level, has made three lakh Constitution protectors across the country. Along with me, Kharge ji, our PCC President Devendra Yadav has also become a protector of the Constitution. Similarly, three lakh Constitution protectors have been made across the country and now in the next series, our Scheduled Caste Department, which is headed by Rajesh Lilothia, will conduct a program to make Constitution protectors in all 70 assembly constituencies of Delhi in 100 days and Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee will support them together.

Our Constitution differentiates our country from all the countries of the world where democracy is not alive, where people’s voice is suppressed. BJP leaders used to make statements that they will change the Constitution after winning this election. By changing the Constitution, they had two objectives - attack on the foundation of democracy and along with that, they wanted to do away with the equality that the Constitution gives us.

When Rahul Gandhi ji went into the election by showing this Constitution, he had two purposes and this is why we started the Samvidhan Rakshak Abhiyan. Rahul Gandhi ji says that we will protect this Constitution. Therefore, it is our duty to protect this Constitution.

The kind of atmosphere in the country that has been prevailing for some time,the way the Constitution has been constantly attacked and it is very important that this Constitution gives equality to all of us. The Constitution which is the basis of our country, today the Bharatiya Janata Party is constantly trying to weaken it. In such a time, it is very important that we all come together and contribute to the protection of this Constitution. I am happy that Rajesh ji, who is also the President of the SC department in Delhi, has this initiative and he has decided to launch it in Delhi.I would like that we all will work to implement this not only in all our 70 assembly constituencies but also in all 250 blocks and wherever there is discrimination or oppression, wherever there is an attempt to suppress our Constitution, I have full faith that our Constitution protectors will come forward and we will all keep ourselves ready to protect the Constitution. -Friday, August 16, 2024
