The Postal Department is providing 250 ml bottle of Ganga water of Gangotri which is priced at Rs. 30. After the imposition of 18 percent GST, its price has now become Rs. 35. But in the website of CBIC related to GST, there are 10 things mentioned in puja material on which GST will not be applicable - Rudraksh, Roli, Vibhuti, Yagyopaveet, Kalava, honey, wooden khadau, panchamrit, sandalwood tilak and lamp wick. - Ganga water is not mentioned there.

On August 8, 2023, and October 3, 2023, the government issued orders imposing 18 percent GST on Ganga water. This time, when the devotees will worship with Ganga water without GST, Congress will get blessings and every time with the power to fight against lies, deception, injustice and unrighteousness, we will force BJP and Modi government to do the rightful- this is justice.
