ICICI responded to our allegations that Ms. Madhabi Puri Buch is receiving money from ICICI in her account. We have not received any response from SEBI or the Prime Minister’s Office. In the second part of the Hindenburg Report, there was a name of a company, Agora Advisory Private Limited, which was registered on May 07, 2013, and it is the company of Madhavi Puri ji’s husband and Madhavi Puri ji, but Madhavi Puri ji had made a denial after the Hindenburg Report, in which she wrote that this company has been dormant since she went to SEBI. But the truth is that 99 percent stake of this company still belongs to Madhavi ji (till March 31, 2024).

This is a case of deliberate concealment. Which Pegasus does the government have, which is only for the opposition, for journalists, but not for Madhavi ji? 99 percent share of Agora company is with Madhavi ji. Which are the companies that took consultancy from this company?

The second question is whether the companies which took the services of Agora are also under SEBI’s scanner, are their cases also pending before SEBI? The purpose of my press conference was to share the answers to our questions and the answers are shocking. From 2016-17, 2019-20 and 2023-24, when Madhavi ji was a full-time member of SEBI and thereafter when she became the Chairperson, Madhavi ji earned Rs. 2,95,00,000 through Agora.

Rs. 2,95,00,000 was earned through Agora. These companies include Mahindra & Mahindra, Dr. Reddy’s, Pidilite, ICICI, Sembcorp and Visu Leasing & Finance listed companies, which are regulated by SEBI.

88% of 2,95,00,000 was taken from Mahindra & Mahindra, Agora took it. SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Puri ji’s husband’s name is Dhawal Buch sahab. He received 4 crore 78 lakh rupees from Mahindra & Mahindra Group between 2019 and 2021. 2,95,00,000 was received by Agora company and 4,78,00,000 was received by him, you ask him why did he get it? This is a violation of section 11, 11B of SEBI’s code of conduct on conflict of interest. 89. You see the orders that SEBI has issued in favour of Mahindra & Mahindra. It is not one, but almost four. Look at the dates of these orders, May 31, 2019, July 21, 2020, March 26, 2018, April 21, 2020, August 27, 2021. I have attached all the orders that were passed by SEBI in favour of Mahindra & Mahindra.

We want to know from the Prime Minister whether he knew that 99% shares of Agora Advisory Private Limited are owned by Madhavi Buch ji? You yourself appointed Madhavi Puri ji as the Chairperson of SEBI. Did the IB not do any due diligence and give you a report?

Our second question is - Prime Minister, did your Pegasus, your IB, all the agencies that you have, which you keep active in our non-BJP states, did not those agencies tell you that Agora has economic and business relations with those companies which SEBI is investigating and adjudicating?

If all these facts did not come to the notice of the Prime Minister, then it is surprising how he is sitting on this post? What kind of collusion is going on? All this is happeningto benefit whom, to save whom? Tuesday, September 10, 2024
