Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram go to the polls in the coming weeks. In every one of the states, the Congress is the firm favorite to form the next government. This is a very remarkable sign indeed. These states span every corner of India. From the far west of Rajasthan to the far east of Mizoram to the central India of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh to the far south of Telangana, the message is the same. The days of Modi’s hate-filled, corrupt and incompetent rule are at an end. The wave that rises from these state elections is sure to sweep the National capital in the coming Lok Sabha polls as well.

The reason for the rise of the Congress in all parts of the Country are two-fold. First, there are the misdeeds of the Modi-RSS-Adani combined. Over the past 9 years, their unholy alliance has sowed division among the Indian people, plunged crores of our people into poverty and destitution while transferring large quantities of our National assets into the hands of a handful of businessmen. The second reason for the shift in the Nation’s mood is the answers that the Congress is offering them in these dark times. The Congress Governments in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh have given their people landmark schemes that have empowered vast numbers of their citizens and set an example for the entire Nation. At the national level, the Congress has set out a political narrative centered around social justice for all communities. We have helped people realize that hatred, division and the denial of the dignity of minorities will not bring our children the jobs they need. We have instead championed economic ideas that support small businesses, spread the national wealth and create jobs. Most of all, Rahul Gandhi is being welcomed wherever he goes as the leader that India needs in these troubled times. It is no wonder that people from every corner of the land are embracing the Congress Party and its message of inclusion, justice, love and hope.
