In the past decade, it has become very clear that the welfare of the people of India is never a consideration in the decisions that the Modi Government takes. But even by their own low standard, this month marked in a new low in how much Modi Ji is willing to compromise the interest of the Indian people for his own politics.

First, there was the humiliating trade agreement that Modi Ji signed with the United States. For the very first time in Indian history, we have a Prime Minister so weak that he has capitulated to another country and open parts of India’s agriculture sector to American imports. Agriculture is not simply an economic activity in India. It is deeply connected to our soil, our culture, our way of life and most important, it sustains the vast majority of India’s poorest and most marginalized families. It is a lifeline and source of dignity for crores of families in every part of India. By opening parts of the agriculture sector to American imports, the government has sold the very soul of rural India to Modi Ji’s American masters.

Then, there is the spectacle of the Artificial Intelligence Leadership Summit in Delhi. It is simply a cover to sell off the data of the Indian people to the handful of global corporations. This is a monumental betrayal of the Indian people. AI companies require data to train their models. This data will be the most prized asset of the coming AI age. India has the World’s largest pool of data. Just as he has given away large parts of India’s assets, Modi Ji is also giving away India’s data to his favorite corporations and thereby compromising India’s position in the coming World order.

The deeper question is why is Modi Ji so weak and helpless? How could the Americans force him to give away the interest of Indian agriculture? How could the American President openly declare that he could destroy Modi Ji’s career? Why is Modi Ji giving away India’s data to global corporations? There is clearly something that President Trump and these global corporations know about Modi Ji that we do not. There is something that they are able to use to threaten him into signing away the interests of the Indian people. Maybe the mention of Modi Ji’s name in the Epstein files holds the secret?
