Shri Rahul Gandhi gets down to earth, helps farmers plant paddy in Sonipat

New Delhi : Former Congress President Shri Rahul Gandhi made an unplanned stop at Sonipat’s Madina village in Haryana while on the way to Shimla from Delhi on June 8, 2023 morning. Shri Rahul Gandhi helped farmers with planting paddy in the Madina village of Sonipat.

The Congress leader saw paddies being planted in a field and stopped his car and stepped into it after rolling up his trousers. He went into the field and ploughed it with a tractor and planted paddy along with the farmers. He was also seen interacting with the farmers and labourers in the field.

“When he along with his staff came, he walked in the fields, we were jubilant. We served him breakfast and he asked us about our problems. He also drove a tractor,” one of the farmers (villagers) said. Shri Rahul Gandhi has been meeting people from different walks of society to know their life and living in this difficult time.

Shri Rahul Gandhi met bike mechanics in Delhi

Earlier, he visited a bike mechanic workshop in Delhi’s Karol Bagh area. Shri Rahul Gandhi was seen having a conversation with mechanics at the workshop and even trying to repair the broken motorcycles. Shri Rahul Gandhi also shared the images of his visit to the bike shop on his Facebook account, he wrote, “Learning from the hands that turn the wrenches, and keep the wheels of ‘Bharat’ moving.
