New Delhi: Highlighting unemployment as the biggest challenge, Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Shri Rahul Gandhi on September 26, 2025, hit out at the frequent alleged paper leaks in staff selection exams, sharing a new slogan ‘Paper Chor, Gaddi Chhor’ to target the BJP.
Shri Rahul Gandhi pointed to a recent paper leak in Uttarakhand, saying, “Today, the BJP’s other name is ‘Paper Chor’ (paper thief)! Repeated paper leaks across the country have ruined the lives and dreams of millions of hardworking youth.”
In a sharp attack on the BJP on the social media platform X, Leader of Opposition Shri Rahul Gandhi said, “Today, the BJP’s other name is ‘Paper Chor’! Repeated paper leaks across the country have destroyed the lives and dreams of millions of hardworking youth. The Uttarakhand UKSSSC paper leak is the latest example. Millions of youth worked day and night, but the BJP’s theft ruined all their hard work. We have been demanding a robust and transparent system to prevent paper leaks. But the Modi government is turning a blind eye to this – because it is concerned not about youth unemployment but about its own power.
Unemployment is the country’s biggest problem today, and it’s directly linked to ‘vote theft’. The paper thieves know that even if young people don’t find jobs, they can still steal votes and remain in power.
The youth are on the streets, chanting, “Paper Chor, Gaddi Chhor!” This isn’t just a fight for youth jobs; it’s a fight for justice and democracy. I stand firmly with every student and youth in this fight for justice.” In another post on social media on September 23, 2025, Shri Rahul Gandhi showed solidarity with jobless youth and said, “The biggest problem facing youth in India is unemployment – and it is directly linked to ‘vote theft’.
When a government wins public trust and comes to power, its first duty is to provide employment and opportunities to the youth. But the BJP doesn’t win elections honestly—they stay in power by stealing votes and subverting institutions. That’s why unemployment has reached a 45-year high.
That’s why jobs are dwindling, recruitment processes have collapsed, and the future of young people is being thrown into darkness. That’s why every exam is linked to stories of paper leaks and every recruitment is linked to stories of corruption. The country’s youth work hard, dream, and strive for their future. But Modi is solely focused on his own PR, celebrity endorsements, and giving profits to his billionaire friends. This government’s identity has become the hallmark of shattering the hopes of young people and disappointing them.
Now the situation is changing. India’s youth has realized that the real fight isn’t just for jobs, but against ‘Vote theft’. Because as long as elections continue to be stolen, unemployment and corruption will continue to rise. Now, young people will neither tolerate job theft nor vote theft. The ultimate patriotism lies in freeing India from unemployment and vote theft.
