‘Have you seen Modi’s face these days?’ Shri Rahul Gandhi attacks PM
Assandh: Congress leader Shri Rahul Gandhi on September 26, 2024, claimed God taught a lesson to Prime Minister Narendra Modi by defeating the BJP in Ayodhya in the recent Lok Sabha elections.
“Have you seen PM Modi’s face these days? Earlier, he used to claim that he has a 56-inch chest, and now he says that he has a direct connection with God. He panicked. He tells the countrymen that they are biological but he is non-biological and he will directly speak to God. But God taught him a lesson in (Lok Sabha) polls, and INDIA Bloc candidate defeated BJP’s candidate in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh,” he said in an election rally in Haryana.
During his campaign rally in the poll-bound state, he claimed PM Modi and the BJP-led Haryana government have destroyed the employment system in the state. “What does Modi do? He gave away the farmland you have to Adani. The loans of Haryana farmers will not be waived off but he waived off the loans of capitalists,” Shri Rahul Gandhi said. He claimed in the US, people from Haryana live in difficult conditions. Addressing a rally at Assandh near Karnal, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha referred to his recent visit to the US and said he met immigrants from Haryana who went there in search of a better future as they were unable to get employment in their home state. “I understood their journey, how they reached the US to live with 20 others packed in a house. They have seen our people die on their way. They first sold their land or took loans on high interest to reach, but could not spent ` 50 lakh to start their business because there is no guarantee of profit,” he said.
“They cannot meet their families for 10 years and can’t even return to perform the last rites if their parents die. They urged me to meet their parents and I did at 4am. I’ve not seen such an emotional scene in my life. You must have seen the video how a son is crying before his father on video call,” he said.
“For Mahila Shakti (women empowerment), we will be giving `500 gas every month, we will give two lakh jobs to the youth. We will give MSP guarantees to the farmer and insurance money as soon as the crop is destroyed,” he added.
Raising the issue of caste census, he said that he will ensure that it gets passed in Parliament in front of PM Modi. “We are just asking to find out how many Dalits, OBCs, STs/SCs are there in the country, what is the issue in that?” Shri Gandhi said.
“Two lakh vacancies would be filled in Haryana and the Congress has promised a legal guarantee for minimum support price,” he said.
At Haryana rally, Shri Rahul says won’t allow RSS to subvert Constitution
Barwala: Congress leader Shri Rahul Gandhi on September 26, 2024, lashed out at the RSS, alleging that it poses a threat to the Constitution and asserted his Party will not allow any attempt to subvert the “Constitution of BR Ambedkar, Mahatma Gandhi and the poor people of India.”
Addressing a poll rally in Barwala in Haryana’s Hisar district, he said that the Constitution protects the poor. “And these RSS people want to undermine the Constitution. It is their target.” “We will protect the Constitution. It is the Constitution of Ambedkar ji, (Mahatma) Gandhi ji and the poor people of the country. We will not let them subvert the Constitution,” he said.
Shri Rahul Gandhi says BJP playing into hands of big corporates, compromising poor’s interests
Naraingarh: Sharpening his attack on the ruling Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) in the run-up to the Assembly polls in Haryana, Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Shri Rahul Gandhi on September 30, 2024, said that the BJP had been playing into the hands of ‘big corporates’ to compromise the interests of country’s poor and downtrodden.
Shri Rahul Gandhi alleged that the Central government was a puppet government, whose strings were in the hands of the ‘Adanis’ and the ‘Ambanis’. “..... a new word ‘vikas’ (development) has come forth, land is required for development, but who’s land – only of the poor and farmers, the land of rich is not required for development. Not even an acre of land has been taken from ‘Adani’ or ‘Ambani’ for development, but “From farmers, several acres of land is taken in the name of development. Farmlands are being finished,” he said.
“I want to find out how many people of which caste are in this country. In Delhi (Centre), 90 officers run the Government of India. Other Backward Class (OBC) population is at least 50%, Dalit is about 15% and Adivasi (tribal) about 8%, minority around 15%, and they all makeup around 90% of the country’s population. These 90 officers, who prepare the country’s budget, and make decisions, come and tell us that the poor can’t be given money, farmers’ loans can’t be waived, and insurance money can’t be given instantly, among them only three officers are OBCs! even though their population is 50%. Moreover, these OBC officers are not given roles in the big ministries. In the big ministries, the people are from that 8%-9% category, from their families only… Dalits are 15%, but when it comes to decision-making, their involvement is negligible. That’s why Congress wants to find out how many Dalits, OBCs and Adivaisis are there in the country, besides finding their number in the institutions, and businesses,” said Shri Rahul Gandhi in Haryana’s Naraingarh in Ambala district, as he declared to conduct a caste survey in Haryana once the Congress formed the government in the State.
Shri Rahul Gandhi, along with Priyanka Vadra led the Party’s ‘Vijay Sankalp Yatra’ to garner support ahead of the Assembly election and senior Congress leaders from Haryana Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Kumari Selja also participated in the event.
“Modi Fills Adani’s Coffers, We Will Fill Poor People’s Pockets,” Shri Rahul Gandhi in Haryana Election Rallies
Ambala/Kurukshetra: Congress has stepped up its efforts to win the assembly elections in Haryana. LoP Shri Rahul Gandhi and Smt. Priyanka Gandhi themselves got actively involved in the electoral campaign in the state. They travelled from Narayangarh in Ambala to Thanesar in Kurukshetra and addressed rallies when they launched scathing attacks on the BJP.
Shri Rahul Gandhi also targeted the BJP government over Agniveer, saying that this scheme brought by PM Narendra Modi is aimed to take away the pension, canteen and martyrs’ status that the Indian soldiers used to get. He said that Adani is selling Israeli weapons by pasting his sticker and he gets crores of rupees from the defense budget.
“BJP is going, Congress is coming”- In her election speeches, Congress General Secretary Smt. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has said that the Constitution has given respect and rights to the people. She called upon the people to change those who talk about changing that Constitution. “BJP is going, Congress is coming, your respect is coming back,” she told the people.
She said that the people of Haryana have given everything to the country. “Today is the time to demand your rights and entitlement. Whichever leader comes in front of you, he should come with his head bowing. He should not consider himself ‘God of the people’. On the one hand, the BJP government here is denying people benefits under schemes by creating family IDs, on the other hand, efforts are being done to benefit big industrialists, Smt. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
Shri Rahul’s ‘chakravyuh’ attack on Modi: PM snatching money from poor, giving it to billionaires
Kurushetra: Leader of Opposition Shri Rahul Gandhi on September 30, 2024, alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has created a Mahabharat-like ‘chakravyuh’ to snatch money from the poor and give it to a few billionaires.
As part of his ‘Haryana Vijay Sankalp Yatra’, Shri Gandhi campaigned in Naraingarh, Ambala and Kurukshetra districts earlier in the day. At a rally in the evening at Thanesar in Kurukshetra, also known as the land of the Mahabharat, Shri Rahul Gandhi used the ‘chakravyuh’ analogy to hit out at the BJP.
“Their (BJP) aim is to take out money from the common people’s pockets and give it to a few billionaires. Like the ‘chakravyuh’ in Mahabharat, a similar ‘chakravyuh’ has been created and six people are behind it — Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Adani, Ambani, Doval and Mohan Bhagwat,” he alleged.
“The aim is that money of the poor people of this country should go into the hands of 20-25 billionaires,” he added.
Congress all set to form government in Haryana, its Tsunami of victory, Shri Rahul Gandhi in Sonipat
Sonipat: Senior Congress leader and leader of opposition in Lok Sabha Shri Rahul Gandhi said on October 1, 2024, that a storm of Congress is coming to Haryana. He said that the Congress government will represent all 36 communities of the state. The youth from these communities will be given justice and equality by filling two lakh vacant government posts with full transparency. The yatra started in the morning from Bahadurgarh, passed through Sonipat, and reached Gohana in the evening. A large crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of Shri Rahul Gandhi during the massive rally on the second day of ‘Haryana Vijay Sankalp Yatra’. Roads were packed with people, and locals showered flowers and raised slogans to welcome the procession.
During the rally in Sonipat, Shri Rahul Gandhi exposed the pre and post poll understanding between the BJP and smaller parties in Haryana. He said that these smaller parties are BJP’s B, C, and D teams, and the fight in the assembly elections is between BJP and Congress. He emphasized that the battle is to protect the Constitution of Dr. Ambedkar and Mahatma Gandhi.
Shri Rahul Gandhi Accuses BJP of Attacking India’s Constitution
Gohana: Accusing the Narendra Modi government of attacking the Constitution, Congress leader Shri Rahul Gandhi on October 1, 2024, slammed the BJP over various issues, including unemployment, the Agniveer scheme and farmers’ welfare. While addressing a public meeting in Haryana, the Congress leader alleged that the BJP government is working for a handful of billionaires in the country.
Holding a copy of the Constitution in his hand, Shri Rahul Gandhi said, “The BJP continues to attack the Constitution by depriving the Dalits, farmers and backward classes.” “When the RSS put their own people in the country’s institutions and do not give any place to the Dalits, backwards, tribals, poor, they are attacking the Constitution. When Mr. Modi helps people like Adani and Ambani and destroys the employment system of the country, they are attacking the Constitution,” he alleged.
“If you have to understand the difference between the BJP and the Congress... I will make you understand in simple terms — woh isko khatam karte hai, hum iski raksha karte hai (they finish it, we protect it),” said Shri Rahul Gandhi, showing the copy of the Constitution to the gathering.
If Haryana has “topped” in unemployment and crime rate, it was because of the “hatred” which the BJP spreads, he alleged. Attacking the BJP-led government over the issue of the Agnipath scheme, Shri Gandhi alleged, “The military recruitment programme is a way to ‘steal’ a soldier’s pension, canteen facilities and martyr status he gets (when he lays down life for his motherland). The motive behind “stealing” Jawans’ pension is to hand over the Defence Budget to Adani. On one side, the pension is snatched and on the other side, the same money goes into Adani’s pocket.”
BJP spreads hatred, oust it from Haryana: Shri Rahul Gandhi
Nuh: Former Congress President Shri Rahul Gandhi on October 3, 2024, said that his Party will not let the “hatred” being spread by the BJP on the basis of religion, language, and caste win and appealed to the people of Haryana to oust the ruling party in the Assembly polls. Shri Rahul Gandhi was addressing a public meeting in Nuh that had witnessed incidents of violence last year after a Vishva Hindu Parishad procession was attacked by a mob, leading to the death of six people, including two home guards and a cleric.
The fight is between ‘mohabbat’ (love) and ‘nafrat’ (hatred). The Congress spreads love while the BJP spreads “hatred”, Shri Rahul Gandhi said on the last day of campaigning Haryana assembly polls. “The most important thing is brotherhood. Wherever the BJP and RSS people go, they spread hatred. In whichever state they go, somewhere they talk about language, somewhere they talk about religion and somewhere they speak about caste.
“Hatred has to be ended. India is not a country of hatred, it is the country of ‘mohabbat’. And you have shown this to the entire country,” He said. India is the country of ‘mohabbat ki dukan’, not ‘nafrat ka bazaar’, he said.”We will not let this hatred win in the country. Love, brotherhood and unity will win in the country,” said the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha.
“With hatred, the country gets weakened. Hatred spreads sorrow and fear. It is only love which is an antidote to hatred. Love spreads brotherhood and with love, the country progresses. We talk about love but they (BJP) spread hatred and try to break the country,” he added.
Holding a copy of the Constitution, Shri Gandhi said, it has protected the rights of the poor, farmers, and labourers but “the BJP and the RSS were hell-bent on attacking the Constitution.” “The fight is about this. If the Constitution does not remain, then you, the poor, would not have anything. Your land, money, and water will vanish. These will go into the hands of select 20-25 people.”
Adani is destroying Haryana’s future: Shri Rahul takes swipe at BJP during Mahendragarh rally
Mahendragarh: Congress leader Shri Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on Adani and the BJP, claiming that Adani is destroying the future of Haryana and its children while the BJP has brought unemployment and addiction to the state. He made these remarks during a public rally with former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupendra Hooda in Mahendragarh on October 3, 2024. Shri Rahul Gandhi argued that if loans for billionaires like Ambani and Adani can be waived, then farmers should also receive the same treatment. “If Ambani and Adani loans can be waived off, then the farmer’s loans should also be waived off too. If Ambani sells chips in the market, sells Campa Cola, or sells cell phones, he gets the right rate. Then the farmers of India will get the right rate (for their produce), and their loans will be waived off,” the Congress leader said.
He said, “The farmer of India does not want any free gift; he only wants his rights and nothing else.” During his address, Shri Rahul Gandhi also accused Prime Minister Modi of being silent on drug trafficking. The Congress leader said, “Drugs are spreading in Haryana, unemployment, and drug addiction; these are the days of the BJP. When thousands of kilos of heroin meant for your children are caught in the ports of Adani, then Narendra Modi does not take any action, and our media friends are nowhere to be seen. Adani is destroying the future of the children of Haryana; he is destroying the future of this state. Thousands of kilos of heroin are caught in his ports, and Narendra Modi remains silent.”
At the rally, the Congress leader then reiterated the promises the Party has made regarding financial aid and job opportunities for the state’s residents.
