New Delhi: The Congress Party has been running the ‘Save Constitution’ movement across the country for the last 1 year. This has frightened the BJP. Those who had no contribution in the country’s freedom movement, those who had no contribution in the making of the Constitution, those who opposed the Constitution - set its copy on fire, are giving advice to the Congress Party on the Constitution!
Modi Government launches new programs and slogans everyday to cover up all its failures. It wants to divert the attention of the public from issues like failed foreign policy, inflation, unemployment, corruption, economic crisis, increasing gap between the rich and the poor, undue benefits to a few industrialists and increasing communalism.
At present, there is an undeclared emergency in the country. This government neither respects the Constitution nor the Parliament. The entire opposition kept demanding a SPECIAL SESSION on Pahalgam, but the session was not called. Two All-party meetings were held, Modiji did not come. Manipur has been burning for two years, but Modiji has not found time to go there yet. Democracy and the Constitution are in the greatest crisis today.
For asking questions - journalists are sent to jail. They are murdered. Students and youth who ask questions to the government are being called ‘traitors’. The oppression on Dalits and weaker sections has increased. Pressure is being exerted on the judiciary.
ED, CBI, Income Tax and other institutions have been engaged in silencing the opposition for 11 years. Before 2024, MPs were suspended and arbitrary laws were made. This government is constantly holding fewer meetings to avoid Parliament. The Modi government has made the Election Commission its puppet. Its credibility and trustworthiness have been ruined and the schedule of any election is decided as per the convenience of Modiji’s party. It does not answer the questions of the opposition.
Modi Government has continuously weakened the Federal Structure of the country. (a) PM does not call the Opposition CMs to talk to them, GST dues are not paid on time, budget money is not given in full. (b) Democracy is being ripped apart. There is one law for BJP states and another law for opposition states. (c) PM never openly helps opposition states in times of disaster. (d) There are no development programmes for the opposition states.
The main job of governors has been to topple opposition governments. The country has seen what happened in Goa, Manipur, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya and Maharashtra.
When opposition governments send their bills to the governor, he sits on them for years. The Supreme Court has had to intervene on such antics of his. Modiji himself has seen that the public is capable of protecting the Constitution and Democracy. He has been shown the mirror during the 18th Lok Sabha elections. When the country was facing a challenge, all the opposition parties including the Congress Party supported the government wholeheartedly. We sent our MPs abroad to present the government’s side. But the government continued to do politics despite that.
The Prime Minister should work to reduce the difficulties of the people. He should work on how to create a better image of India along with issues related to national security and the common people and not waste public money on useless programs.
