In Goa, fight is between Congress and BJP, says Shri Rahul Gandhi

PANAJI: The Goa Assembly election is a faceoff between the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party and not between any other party, Congress leader Shri Rahul Gandhi said on February 4, 2022. Claiming that the Congress would form a government “in partnership with the people of Goa,” Shri Rahul Gandhi said that the party had taken a tough stance on defectors this time by not giving them tickets.

“The biggest difference between the BJP and the Congress’ style of functioning was that the former took decisions without holding any discussion with the public,” said Shri Gandhi.

Rahul Gandhi wants people as partners to take Goa Forward Shri Rahul Gandhi was speaking at a meeting held in Sanquelim. “Congress has always executed the things wished by people. We do development by consent of people and by taking them into confidence. But BJP has ruined Goa, killed democracy and has done destruction of environment by going against the wishes of people”, he charged. Shri Rahul Gandhi further said that focus of Congress is on generating employment. “We know how to create it and will bring promises into reality”, he said.
