PM Modi can’t order an inquiry against Adani, Shri Rahul Gandhi alleges in Chhattisgarh
Nava Raipur: Asserting that Congress-run States are ruled by “governments of poor people” instead of being ruled by “governments of Adani”, former Congress President & MP Shri Rahul Gandhi addressed the Party’s ‘Rajiv Yuva Mitan Sammelan’ on September 2, 2023, claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi can never order any inquiry against the Adani Group as it “will not put the Adani Group in trouble but someone else.”
Shri Rahul Gandhi made these remarks at an event in Nava Raipur’s mela ground to felicitate members of the ‘Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club’, an initiative of the Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel-led government to involve youth in the promotion of local sports and culture in Chhattisgarh. It is worth mentioning that this marks the first instance of direct teacher recruitment in the state since the formation of the state. 2,000 candidates were presented with appointment letters at the ‘Rajiv Yuva Mitan Sammelan’. Online counselling for candidates for 6285 Assistant Teacher posts is in progress, and appointment orders will be issued soon.
Starting off by speaking about the Congress’ victory in Karnataka, Shri Rahul Gandhi said that it was a victory for the Party’s ideology. “BJP’s ideology is to divide people, and to spread hate and violence. Our ideology is to unite people...”
Earlier, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel claimed that the Chhattisgarh government is facing raids from the Central agencies as it did not allow the BJP’s plans to hand over iron-ore mines and coal mines in the mineral-rich State to the Adani Group. “If there is anyone who is standing in between Adani and the mines, it is the Congress and the Congress government....”
AICC General Secretary Kumari Selja, Chief Minster Shri Bhupesh Baghel , Deputy Chief Minister Shri TS Singh Deo, Shri Charandas Mahant, Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu, PCC President Shri Deepak Baij, Smt. Phulo Devi Netam, Ministers and MLAs of Chhattisgarh, Congress workers, the large numbers of youths of Chhattisgarh were present at the Sammelan in Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
