Jabalpur: A large protest meeting was held on 16th February, 2017 against notebandi Janvedna panchayat at the Raddi Chowk. The meeting was presided over by senor Congress leader, Shri Rajendra Sonekar.

Speaking on demagnetization, Shri Sonekar said that by demonetization, Modiji has ruined the Indian economy and instead of taking the country forward on the path of development, the nation progress has been halted. He said this has ruined the life of poor people who have even lost their small business which was the source of survival.

Also present were Pradesh Congress vice president, Shri Madan Tiwari, MPCC secretary, Shri Sachin Yadav, leader of the opposition, Rajesh Sonekar, Vinay Saxena, Jhallelal Jain, Atul Bajpayee, Satish Tiwari, Guddu Chaubey and Chhaman Passi with others.
