Raipur: Congress Party’s National Secretary Vikas Upadhyay took a jibe at the BJP government at the Center, over the rising petrol and diesel prices in the country for the past few days and said on March 30, 2022, that this government takes such anti-people decisions only after the elections are over, to avoid public wrath.
Shri Upadhyay said that the central and state governments will have to reduce their dependence on income from petrol and diesel as such decisions testify the tendency of running the government by pocket picking the general public.
Shri Vikas Upadhyay said that the Central Government should reduce its taxes. The general public cannot get relief till the BJP Government at the Center does not reduce the excise duty.
