Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Ajay Maken, hailing the contribution of Poorvanchalis in the development of Delhi with their sweat and toil, said that the Congress party will not tolerate any misbehaviour on the people of Poorvanchal by the BJP leaders in Delhi.

Addressing thousands of Poorvanchalis at a demonstration on 2nd November, 2018 under the leadership of Shri Ajay Maken outside the Delhi BJP office, near Gole Dak Khana, today to protest against the assault on the Poorvanchalis by a Delhi BJP Member of Parliament, Shri Ajay Maken said that unless the said MP tenders his apology and resign, the Delhi Poorvanchal Congress will stage protests in all the 70 Assembly constituencies of Delhi in a peaceful manner.

Prominent among those present at the demonstration, besides Shri Ajay Maken, included ex-MP Shri Mahabal Mishra, senior leader and ex-MLA Shri Mukesh Sharma, senior leaders Shri Chattar Singh and Shri Bhram Yadav, Shri Shivji Singh, Dr P.K. Mishra and Shri Pushpendra Srivastava.
