Fatehabad: An angry demonstration was held by Haryana Congress against the arbitrary decision of demonetization by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 8th November, 2016 at mini secretariat, Fatehabad, under the leadership of PCC president and ex. MP Dr. Ashok Tanwar.

On this occasion District general secretary Ms. Monika Malik, Haryana Kisan Cell president Rajesh Kaliraman, District incharge Omprakash Keharwala, Devendra Babbli, ex. MLA Kulbir Beniwal, District Mahila Congress president Smt. Krishna Punia, Gurdeep Chahal along with huge numbers of Party workers were present.
