Allahabad: District and City Congress Committee members paid glowing tributes to the Lady of the Millennium and Bharat Ratna Indira Gandhi on her 34th martyrdom day observed as ‘Anti Terrorism-Day’ on 31st October, 2018. In the morning congress men garlanded the portrait of their beloved leader at Anand Bhawan.

Addressing the Shraddhajali Shabha former mayor Ch. Jitendra Nath Singh said by creating Bangladesh she made not only history but geography also in the world. He recalled the contribution of Indira Ji to making India strong, self reliant and self confident nation. She was a citizen of world in every sense of term, he added. UPCC Working committee member Kishore Varshney presided over the Sabha.

The meeting was held under the presidentship of DCC president Anil Dwivedi. Fuzail Hashmi, Hrikesh Tripathi, Md. Aslam, Mahesh Tripathi, Ajay Srivastava, Parvez Siddiqui, Dr. Ramesh Jaiswal, Anshuman Patel, Dr. Satya Pandey, Awadesh Tripathi and Many others were also present.
