Ranchi: The prices of petrol and diesel have been increased by a total of Rs. 5.60 per litre in the last nine days. Petrol and diesel prices have been increasing continuously since March 22 after remaining stable for 137 days due to the elections of five states. On the instructions of the All-India Congress, the State Congress has started the ‘Inflation-free India Campaign’ against inflation across the state on March 31, 2022.
State Congress Committee spokesperson Shri Rakesh Sinha said that in view of the daily increase in the prices of petrol, diesel and LPG across the country, the State Congress is running an ‘Inflation-free India Campaign’ in three phases.
Keshav Mahto Kamlesh, Ravindra Singh, Rakesh Sinha, Surendra Singh, Ramashray Prasad, Rama Khalkho, Shamsher Alam, Kedar Paswan, Jagdish Sahu, Mahendra Mishra, Bailes Tirkey, Jitendra Trivedi, Rajiv Chaudhary, Shahzada Hussain, Ajay Singh and other Congressmen participated in the programme.
