Chandigarh: Chandigarh Congress Territorial Committee, under the leadership of former Union Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal and Chandigarh State President Pradeep Chhabra along with Chairman, Intellectual Cell (Vichar Vibhag), all office bearers of Congress thousands of workers staged protest and marched towards Governor house to submit memorandum against Modi government deal scam.

The protest started from sector 19-27 traffic light point and marched towards Governor house on 4th October, 2018 raising slogans Modi government and holding banners and big cut out of Rafale Aircraft but they were stopped by Police force, who had multiple layer barricading. Huge police force along with woman police and paramilitary forces were deployed keeping in strong and big protest by Congress.

Later the memorandum in this regard was submitted to Governor, demanding that the Rafale scam should be immediately probed by a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) for investigation into this sordid saga of loss.
