Dehradun: President of the Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress Committee, Ganesh Godiyal, while addressing the media at the state headquarters of the Congress on October 6, 2021, said that during the UPA government, the foundation stone of Rishikesh-Karnprayag railway line was laid in 2011. Today the local people are being ignored in this scheme costing 16000 crores, approved by the UPA government.

Ganesh Godiyal also said that at the instructions of the Central Government, first the State Government got the candidates of D.L.Ed. trained but when it came to employ them, the same government failed these candidates.

Ganesh Godiyal said that the Congress Party’s fight against corruption will continue and the Congress is keeping a close watch on every activity of the government and as soon as the interests of the people of Uttarakhand are compromised, the Congress party will raise its voice.
