Ranchi: Effigies of India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman were burnt on August 27, 2021, under the leadership of Prince Butt, President of Ranchi City Youth Congress. Their effigies were burnt at Albert Ekka Chowk by Ranchi City Youth Congress in protest against the sale of the country’s government institutions, government property like railways, BSNL, airports etc. to their industrialist friends.

Pradesh Congress Committee Spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan Prasad, Shamsher Alam, Dr. Rakesh Kiran, Kumar Raja, District Rural President Suresh Baitha, Bablu Shukla, Youth Spokesperson Ujjwal Prakash Tiwari, Shadab Khan, Priyanka Sisodia, Abhishek Singh, Nishant Singh were primarily present in the programme.
