Nuh (Haryana): Chaudhary Aftab Ahmed, Nuh MLA and Deputy Leader of CLP Haryana, reviewed the crops damaged by strong winds, rain and hailstorm in the villages around Nuh on 14-03-2020 and demanded the coalition government of the state to compensate the loss of the farmers of Mewat with immediate effect.

Aftab Ahmed said that he had raised this issue in the Legislative Assembly on March 2 after the heavy rain of February 29, and the Chief Minister had assured in the House that compensation would be paid by surveying the wasted crop, but the compensation has not yet been received and instead farmers have been affected by the natural disaster again.

The government should immediately give compensation to the farmers otherwise Congress will take to the streets. Aftab Ahmed said that he and the entire Congress party are standing with the farmers and are committed to their rights.
