Chandigarh: Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee President Kumari Selja launched a special membership drive of the party on November 1, 2021, at the State Congress Headquarters in Chandigarh. Today, hundreds of people took the formal membership of the party here.

Speaking on the occasion, Kumari Selja said that today is a historic day for us because on this day i.e. on November 01, 1966, Haryana got the status of a separate state. After the formation of a separate state of Haryana, it has made unprecedented progress in every field and has been proving the pride of India as an agricultural state.

Former Deputy Chief Minister Chandra Mohan, MLAs Pradeep Chaudhary, Shelly Choudhary and RenuBala, Treasurer of Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee Rohit Jain, President of Haryana Pradesh Mahila Congress Sudha Bharadwaj, former MLA JasbirMalour, State Congress’s administrative affairs in-charge and AICC member Pratap Chaudhary, state Congress’s media in-charge Nilay Saini, spokesperson Sanjeev Bhardwaj, Balmukund Sharma and Ramesh Bamal etc. were present on the occasion.
