Aligarh: Following all the rules of social-distancing on the occasion of the death anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of independent India, tributes were paid to him by garlanding his portrait, under the leadership of Haryana Pradesh Congress in-charge Vivek Bansal, at AyodhyaKutir, Congress Office, Maris Road, on May 27, 2021.

Shri Vivek Bansal said that Pandit Nehru was the only major architect of modern India. The foundation of the development, the country is at today, was laid by him and the construction of strong buildings on that foundation also started during his tenure. He had laid down the main principles for the protection of democracy.

Among the Congressmen present on the occasion were Bihar Congress In-charge CP Gautam, Shahid Khan, Dr. Dharmendra Kumar Lodhi, Dr. Rakesh Saraswat, Bijendra Singh Baghel, Yusuf Khan etc.
