Aligarh: Congressmen staged a massive protest on the streets on June 30, 2021, under the leadership of Vivek Bansal, in-charge of Haryana State of All India Congress Committee and former MLA. While protesting, the protesters held anti-BJP placards in their hands. Raising slogans, Congressmen started from Marris Road riding rickshaws and went back to Marris Road through several routes.

Shri Bansal said that small industries, businesses, which have been battling the Corona crisis, have come to a standstill and lakhs of people have become unemployed due to the loss of employment, but this does not matter to the BJP government. On the contrary, it is looting openly by increasing the prices of petrol and diesel. In this protest, Smt. Maya Gupta, Adv. Thakur Santosh Singh, Dr. Sherpal Savita, Shahzad Hussain, Neeraj Tomar, Sandeep Diwakar, Pinku Baghel etc. activists participated.
