Aligarh: On the occasion of the ‘August Revolution Day’ observed against inflation, unemployment, women’s security, farmers’ problems, deteriorating law and order, corruption and huge increase in the prices of petrol, diesel and cooking gas, ‘BJP Gaddi Chhod’ (‘Let BJP be dethroned’) march was taken out on August 09, 2021, under the joint aegis of the All-India Haryana State in-charge of Congress Committee, Shri Vivek Bansal, an ex-MLA, the District and the City Congress Committee.

The march started from the Congress Office at Railway Road and reached Maris Road via Pathhar Bazar, BaradwariChauraha, Sarai Hakim, Rasalganj, Kathpula, Diwani Kachari, Ghanta Ghar, Samad Road, Center Point. Maris Road Petrol Pump was gheraoed and demonstration was projected.

Congressmen present prominently in this march were former MLA Bansi Singh Paharia, Aligarh in-charge Badruddin Qureshi, Co-in-charge Mukesh Dhangar, RuhiZubairi, Shalini Chouhan, Vijay Laxmi Singh, Ruhi Khan, Vinod Pandey, Raju Soldier, Aamir Thakur, Jatan Aggarwal along with other Congressmen.
