BJP and AAP are two parties that talk of development through their own models of governance, but the similarities between both the parties are uncanny.
Crores spent on advertisements in a country where crores are living below poverty line.
Using religious sentiments for personal gain. Anarchy. False promises. Shallow showmanship. And a lot more.
If the people of Punjab want new politics, they must see these similarities and patterns and judge for themselves as these pictures, facts, and patterns speak of betrayal & destruction.
Infact, the similarities between AAP & BJP are so striking that we could easily call them “two sides of the same coin”.
On one hand the BJP propagated its Gujarat model which was of course a failure and now on the other hand the AAP is riding down the same road with its Delhi model. Clearly "bade miyan" and "chote miyan" governance models are only visible in advertisements. Both the AAP and the BJP have mastered the art of promising a “new brand of politics” to only befool the public.
Another striking similarity between the two parties is their flare for shallow theatrics aimed at diverting the attention of the people from the real issues that matter. The Prime Marketer Mr. Modi is infamous for adapting makeovers to mix in with people for electoral, vote-gaining purposes. So is the Chief Marketer Mr. Kejriwal. Now, who will tell them that a “banawati pagri” will not fool the real Sardars of Punjab?
And the worst similarity you ask? Their anti-annadata, anti-people stand. While Mr. Modi has the time to go on foreign tours, he had no time for our farmers who had been protesting & struggling against the three draconian farm laws imposed by his govt. On the other hand, Mr. Kejriwal not only blamed our farmers for Delhi’s pollution, not only vilified them for fighting for their rights, he also was quick to support the farm laws & turn a blind eye towards the BJP brutalities against our annadatas.
Well, it comes as no surprise that the Aam Aadmi Party’s ideology is similar to that of the BJP, as it too has emerged from the RSS.
The statements made by a founding member of the party throws light on the fact that much like the BJP, adopting the “divide & rule” policy even at the cost of our nation is second nature to the AAP - just to gain or retain power.
It is time the Punjabis gave them a befitting reply. It is time the Punjabis made them understand who the real Sardars are, showed them the power of the hard work and sacrifice behind each turban, and made them realise that Punjab belongs to Punjabis.
Be it the Gujarat model or the Delhi model, shattered hopes & bleak futures are a mainstay.
It is the Congress model that truly reflects good governance. It is the Congress model that truly respects Punjab & Punjabiyat. It is the Congress model under Chief Minister Shri Charanjit Singh Channi that will bring peace & progress.
Punjab knows that and Punjab will vote wisely.
