INC SIR Assistant: Connecting Booth-Level Action with State-Level Monitoring

The INC SIR Assistant https://incsirassistant.com/ is a multi-level digital and communication system developed for the Indian National Congress to manage and monitor the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

The platform connects Booth Level Agents (BLAs) with Assembly, District and State leadership, helping convert electoral-roll data into organised ground-level action.

From Booth to State

The INC SIR Assistant works across four levels:

Booth Level: BLAs can access booth-level draft electoral roll information and report updates, corrections and issues from the ground.

Assembly Level: Booth-level information is brought together at the Assembly Constituency level, allowing leaders to monitor progress and identify issues relating to additions, deletions and corrections.

District Level: District Congress Committees can monitor all Assembly Constituencies under them, identify areas requiring attention and coordinate with local teams.

State Level: The State Congress leadership gets a consolidated view of SIR progress across the state, helping in monitoring, planning and allocation of resources.

Communication Built into the System

The INC SIR Assistant is not only a monitoring dashboard. It also provides communication tools to connect different levels of the organisation.

These include DCC Alerts for important district-level information, BLA Messages for communicating directly with Booth Level Agents, and MLA Messages for coordination with legislators and their teams.

This allows information to move quickly from leadership to the booth and, equally importantly, enables issues identified on the ground to reach the appropriate level.

Why It Matters

Accurate electoral rolls are fundamental to a fair electoral process. During SIR, party workers have the important responsibility of identifying missing eligible voters, checking shifted or deceased voters, identifying duplicate entries, and assisting eligible citizens with claims and objections.
